JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Develop creative architectural concepts and design directions for architectural and interior projects, delivering innovative, client-focused, and technically feasible solutions that align with the company's design standards and long-term vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Concept Design Development

• Receive project briefs and design requirements from the Concept Manager, Design Director, or Project Lead.
• Research site conditions, project context, market trends, and client requirements.
• Develop design concepts, design stories, and overall project design direction.
• Propose space planning, functional layouts, and architectural massing solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas across company projects.

2. Concept Documentation

Prepare concept design packages in accordance with company standards, including:

• Moodboards
• Concept Boards
• Functional Layouts
• Massing Studies
• Preliminary Floor Plans
• Conceptual Perspectives
• Concept Presentation Decks
• Coordinate with the 3D Visualization team to ensure renderings accurately reflect the design intent.
• Maintain consistency between the design concept and presentation materials.

3. Design Presentation

• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and project reviews.
• Present design concepts to clients, partners, and company leadership.
• Explain design solutions and revise proposals based on approved feedback.
• Support the Project Lead during design presentations and concept defense.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with the following disciplines:

• Technical Design
• BIM
• Structural Engineering
• MEP Engineering
• Interior Design
• Quantity Surveying (QS)
• Ensure concept designs are technically feasible and aligned with project budgets.
• Provide design clarification throughout subsequent project development phases.

5. Research & Development

• Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, and emerging design technologies.
• Contribute to the development of the company's concept library, design standards, and technical resources.
• Recommend improvements to the company's concept design workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
  • Architectural Design
  • Interior Design
  • Spatial Planning
  • Finishing Materials
  • Applied Arts
• Solid knowledge of functional planning, basic structural principles, and practical construction feasibility.

Skills

• Strong conceptual thinking and creativity.
• Ability to transform client briefs into compelling design concepts.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Software Proficiency

Proficient in:

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Revit (preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign
• Lumion / Enscape
• AI-assisted design tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.)

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in architectural or interior design.
• Experience developing concepts for:
  • Luxury Residential
  • Villas
  • Office Buildings
  • F&B Projects
  • Hospitality
  • Commercial Developments
• A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, creative thinking, and design storytelling.
